Richard is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in successfully building numerous businesses and investing capital. He founded Forum in 1996. Forum has launched businesses and been active in the areas of real estate investment and development, infrastructure development, public-private partnerships, power investments, and private equity. There have been several substantial investments exits during this time. Today, he and his team of 50 are building a multi-strategy asset manager with a focus on real estate, private equity, and infrastructure. Forum's core purpose is to “Deliver extraordinary outcomes to its stakeholders.” Its stated objective is to positively impact 50,000 lives by 2030 while successfully building the business.
Richard lives in Toronto with his wife and two teenage daughters. He enthusiastically supports the community with time and money and has served in numerous not-for-profit board positions. He is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization and the Business Council of Canada.
